My Birthday!

Yesterday, June 29th, was my 20th birthday! However, I was not happy in the morning because my family didn't remember my birthday and didn't say "Happy birthday" :( BUT! I became the happiest person in the world as soon as I arrived at university! My dear friends said happy birthday to me and gave me happy birthday e-mails and some presents! I am going to show you the presents. These are awesome, aren't these?? Ayana also came to the university to give me a present! Thank you, Ayana ;) I cannot help telling I love you guys for my friends. I LOVE MY FRIENDS :D Moreover, when I went to the library after school, I met Oosawa san who was the staff of Kokusai Koryu center. I told him my birthday's date and he gave me a present! It was a sweet made from Korea. I was so happy. I like him! haha I recognized that I had many really good friends. I think that all my friends are very kind and funny, but I am going to America this summer :( When I think about that, I always become sad recently. So I will value the time I can enjoy talking, laughing, playing and even studying with them. June 29th was the day which let me know the importance of my friends. Thanks for all my friends! Last Weekend

I am going to talk about last weekend. On Saturday, I went to Jasco in Yatsushiro with my mother and younger brother. My brother plays baseball so he needs some clothes for playing baseball. However, there was no cloth which he wanted so he reserved nice one. Then, we went to sushi restaurant to have dinner. My birth day is June 29th, everyone know that, so the dinner became my pre-birthday party! I like sushi very much! So the party was awesome :)

On Sunday, I did my homework. Actually, I and my friends which are in English department have a huge amount of homework :( In addition, we will have three tests on Friday in this week. It is so terrible for us. However, I promised that I did my best with friends! I'll do my best! (137)

Photos for my 20th ceremony

June 10th, what a nice day! I went to Kumamoto to take photos for my 20th ceremony. Actually, I will be 20 years old on June 29th so I felt a little bit strange. First, I went to hair salon named "proud" and got hair set and make up. It was first time for me to be made up by someone, and that by man! I was a little nurvous. haha After that, I went to Wedding Box, the photo place, and changed clothes. It was also first time to wear a kimono. When I wore the kimono, it was hard to breath. However, when I looked at myself wearing the kimono, I was so happy because the kimono seemed to suit me :) In addition, my father and mother said "You are cute only today, Yui! haha". Hmm... it was OK. Then, the photo time at last! I held many kinds of poses that I had never did. Being taken photos was interesting. I excited doing that. Moreover, I took photos with my parent after such a long time. I recognized that my parent had grown up me with caution again. I will go to America this summer, but I will try to take care of myself :) 　(210)

Lion King

I am going to talk about "Lion King". This is Disney's movie. There is a nation which is controlled by a lion named Mufasa and some lionesses. Hmm... Most of people know about this story, right? So I am going to talk about my opinion. I LOVE this movie so I often see it. There are many favorite points in this movie. First, I like the characters which appear in it. I like Simba of course, but my favorite characters are Timon and Pumbaa! I have introduced them to you once but they are so funny and kind. Second, I like the musics in this movie. Most of characters sing in this movie but they sing different kind of songs. I think the best song is "Hacna Matata". It means "Don't worry"! I have more more more favorite points which I want to tell you, but time is up! I'll talk about it again someday :) (156)

Friday and Saturday

On Friday, I stayed Meg's house as usual. haha We went to yayoi-ken to have dinner after all classes was finished. I ate... hmm.... what did I eat?? Please tell me, Meg :( After that, we went to the library to do our homework. We both had a lot of home works so we had to study! Then, we went back Meg's house. We saw "Pretty Princes 2". That movie was so interesting and I loved it because my favorite actor, Anne Hathaway, appeared in that. I want to be a prince someday!haha



On Saturday, after my part-time job in cram school, I went to Japanese pub named "Tsuru to Kame" with my part-time job company. It was first time for me to go there. I teach only English to my students so I have good relationships with especially English teachers. We talked about a lot of things, about our students, about English and about complaints for our boss a little. haha We had a great time! I want to eat out with them again! Actually, we are planning to do BBQ with all part-time job companies. I am really looking forward to the day! (193)

I read There Was A Crooked Man. This story is very short and is easy to read, but the pictures were so cute that I enjoyed reading it. And there were a lot of rhyme in the story so I also enjoyed reading aloud it. My favorite picture is kitty's picture. They are so cute!

About my keitai

I bought my cell phone one year ago so I used to use this. My cell-phone's color is purple. I set a Lady Gaga's picture as the stand-by image. The picture is one of my favorite pictures. My cell-phone ring tone is "Stand by me". It is sung by Ben E King and I like this song very much so I set it as cell-phone ring tone. I always have my cell-phone anywhere, but sometimes I forget to bring it because I don't have enough time in the morning. (91)

Using the computer

Using computer is part of my life now because I use the computer everyday in the university and my house. I have to do a lot of homework by using the computer so the computer is the most necessary tool for me. Computers have many useful functions, but I think the Internet is very important one because we can get much information on the internet such as knowledge of all over the world, weather information, the latest news and so on. I will go to America in this year so I always check the rates of external exchange on the internet. (101)

The Lion and the Mouse

I read "The Lion and the Mouse". This book is easy to read, but the story is so good! I leaned that it was sure that there were good friends in the world. They may be different from me, but they have good points that I don't have. I think it is good for me to find people who different from me. (87)

Ouchi-cafe

Yesterday was Narisa's birthday!! Happy birthday Narisa:) I hope you enjoy your 20th life!

Today, I went to Ouchi-cafe to have lunch with Meg. We had wanted to go there and to eat French toasts! But the French toast is served over 2:00 p.m. so we ate lunch menu. I ate a cabbage roll and Meg ate an omelet containing stir-fried rice. Both of them were so delicious that I recommend the cafe for every people. And I am going to tell you a secret ;) Mr.Branch also ate a cabbage roll. He seems to go there many times! If you want to see him, why don't you go to the cafe?haha (111)

One of my friends, Yukiko

I am going to introduce one of my friends again. Her name is Yukiko and I met her at this university first time. She has very big eyes and very cute! That was my first impression of her. However, I realized that she was so funny. Now, she is going to America to study English with me! So we have more time to be together than past. We will go to Fukuoka to take visa interview together. And I am going to tell her good points and bad points. First, good points are that she is so cute and very kind. But she also has bad points. The bad points are that she usually says "I am fat, I am not cute." No way! I think she pays attention on her own body too much. Everyone know that she has a boy friend. I think she can have good relationship with him. I hope I could have big eyes like hers! (161)

I read "The Reluctant Dragon". It was the first time for me to read the story about dragon who doesn't like fighting. However, the reluctant dragon was so cute that I liked this story. And the boy who was the only person that believed dragon was also cute and kind! The part that dragon and a dragon killer pretended to fight was so interesting. I thought I want to see the reluctant dragon. (101)

My favorite movies

I love watching movies and watch many kinds of movies, for example, Disney, love story and so on. I like most of them but I am going to introduce my favorite movies. First, "P.S. I Love You" is very good movie. I was moved by it so much and watched it with my crying. I couldn't help crying. Second, "Lion King", the movie of Disney, was also amazing. I like the characters which appeared on the movie and the songs. It is really fun to watch movies with friends. (89)
